We would like to share an important leadership transition for the InterPore Academy.

After several years of outstanding service as Chair of the Course Committee, Ilenia Battiato is stepping down from the role. Under her leadership, the committee established the Study Plan in Porous Media, expanded the Academy's course offerings, and brought together an exceptional community of instructors and contributors. We are grateful for Ilenia's dedication, vision, creativity, and tireless efforts, which have helped shape the Academy into what it is today.

We are delighted to welcome Hang Deng of Peking University as the new Chair of the Academy Course Committee. Hang has been an active member of the committee since its early years and has played a key role in developing the Study Plan and contributing to Academy and Conference Courses. With her extensive experience across academia, she is well positioned to lead the committee as it continues to expand its programs, broaden participation, and deliver high-quality educational opportunities for the porous media community.
