InterPore Welcomes New Communications Committee Members
InterPore is pleased to announce that Behrad Tabrizipour and Daudi Mrema have joined the InterPore Communications Team, where they will support Journal outreach activities.
In this role, Behrad and Daudi will help promote the visibility and growth of the InterPore Journal within the InterPore community and across the broader porous media field through engagement at conferences, within professional networks, and on digital communication platforms. They will also support collaboration and outreach efforts throughout the community.
Behrad Tabrizipour holds an M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, specializing in Drilling and Reservoir Engineering, from Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran. His research interests include reservoir engineering, porous media, Digital Rock Physics, and AI applications in fractured reservoir characterization and drilling-related workflows. His technical experience includes Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI agents, image processing, and Python-based scientific applications.
Daudi Mrema holds a Master’s degree in Oil and Natural Gas Engineering from China University of Petroleum (East China). He brings experience in petroleum engineering, academia, project coordination, and upstream regulatory activities, and currently serves as a part-time Assistant Lecturer in Natural Gas Engineering at the University of Dodoma (UDOM). Daudi is also actively involved in the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), contributing to technical programming, sustainability initiatives, and professional development activities for students and young professionals.
