Council's Corner: The Second Edition
Dear InterPore Members,
As your elected council, we are excited to introduce the Council’s Corner. Going forward, one of us will share key takeaways and discussions from our quarterly meetings, reaffirming our commitment to strengthening the connection between our members and the Society's ongoing activities and affairs.
Today it is my turn (Maja) to share with you our highlights from the council meeting on September 5th 2024. Topics discussed included the upcoming elections, InterPore finances, strategic planning, our journal and the InterPore2025 conference.
We were happy to hear about planned special issues for the InterPore journal and the introduction of solicited speakers at InterPore2025. The solicited speakers can be invited by the mini-symposia organizers, providing an opportunity to attract specialists and early- to mid-career researchers to our conference. We also discussed how we can foster diversity in our elections, ensuring representation from both industry and academia, as well as global participation across cultures, genders, and more.
Let us know your questions and opinions!
