InterPore friends, Just like our understanding of porous media evolves over time, InterPore itself evolves as well. This year, we introduce a new award: The Rien van Genuchten Early-Career Award. Please help us find a fantastic young scientist for the award’s first. Also, thanks to generous donations from our community, we can offer travel grants to InterPore2020. Please apply before the deadline of 16 March.

Dear Colleagues, We are aware of the spread of the coronavirus and the associated implications. Many of you have been wondering what the consequences are for the planned InterPore meeting in May in Qingdao, China. 

With profound sorrow, we wish to inform the InterPore community that Amir Ashrafi Habibabadi and his wife, Fatemeh Ghasemi Dastjerdi, were among 176 lives that perished on board Ukrainian International Airlines flight PS752.
