InterPore News featuring the Focus Theme for InterPore2026
Sent on: 20-08-2025
Editorial
Dear InterPore colleagues, When working through today’s news items, I came across the IMP website (Pania Newell's posted jobs) and I noticed a mention of a podcast with the inspiring title ‘Permission to Pause’. It is about freeing up time to literally drive away from work for a full day and come to rest. Great advice! And only later, I realized we had advertised the start of the podcast series. Obviously, I didn’t have time to finish the episode on taking a break because the remaining items in the Newsletter awaited my attention. Quite a few webinars, chapter announcements, and more jobs. And the theme for InterPore2026, which is becoming more urgent by the day. All the best, Matthijs de Winter |

Sightseeing hunt...in Nantes!
InterPore2026 will be in Nantes. This week's cultural highlight: The Passage Pommeraye The Passage Pommeraye is a historic shopping arcade in the center of Nantes, named after its developer, Louis Pommeraye. It was inaugurated in 1843. Spanning three levels and connecting streets of differing heights with a monumental central staircase, its design is very elaborate and includes Renaissance-style sculptures. The passage, now a protected historical monument, is well known for both its commercial boutiques and its decorative details, making it a renowned architectural and cultural landmark.
