JEMP 2025
The 17th Journées d’Études des Milieux Poreux (JEMP) was a great success. The conference took place in downtown Orléans from November 4–6 and brought together nearly 180 participants (students, academics or industrials).
The program featured 88 oral presentations delivered in three parallel sessions, 41 posters, and 6 outstanding keynote lectures: Rainer Helmig (Univ. Stuttgart), Carla de Tomas (King’s College London), Lydéric Bocquet (ENS Paris), Jennifer L. Druhan (Univ. Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), Laurent Brochard (Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées, Paris), Sylvie Lorthois (IMFT, Toulouse).
During the conference, the France InterPore Chapter Thesis Prize was awarded to Sarah Perez and to Shaolin Liu for their remarkable PhD works. The Best Poster Prize was awarded to Nassim Cheikh.
In addition to the banquet in the evening of the second day, a welcome reception was given in the Musée des Beaux-Arts d’Orléans.
A warm thank-you and congratulations to the local organizing committee, led by Sophie Roman (Univ. Orléans), for their excellent work.
The next JEMP which will be held in Grenoble in 2027. In the meantime, France will also welcome in 2026 the next Interpore conference (Nantes).
