Leading Team

• President: Dr. Shuyu Sun, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology,

• Responsibilities: Lead and manage the general affairs in InterPore National Committee. Communicate with the InterPore headquarter and advisory board.

• Vice President: Dr. Tameem Almani, Saudi Aramco

• Responsibilities: Manage the local relationship, industrial relationship, event, programs, and finance affairs.

• Vice President: Dr. Manal Alotibi, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals

• Responsibilities: Manage the communication, honors and awards, academic relationship, and international activity affairs.

Steering Committee Officers

• Academic Relationship Officer: Dr. Mohamed Fathy El-Amin Mousa, Effat University
• Responsibilities: Communicate with local institutions, research organizations, and scholars to enhance potential collaborations and our academic reputation.
• Industrial Relationship Officer: Dr. Ahmad Kadoura, Dow Chemical
• Responsibilities: Communicate with local industries to seek for their sponsorship, internship opportunities, participation, and so on.
• Local Relationship Officer: Dr. Azhar Saeed Alhammali, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (University of Dammam)
• Responsibilities: Communicate with local authorities and organizations to enlarge our reputation and participation, especially to enhance women’s participation in science.
• International Activity Officer: Dr. Qinzhuo Liao, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals
• Responsibilities: Communicate with abroad researchers, institutions, and industries, especially in the Middle East.
• Honors and Awards Officer: Dr. Arun Narayanan Nair, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology
• Responsibilities: Organize the nomination and election of the honors and awards owners every two years in InterPore Saudi Chapter.
• Event and Program Officer: Dr. Jun Li, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals
• Responsibilities: Organize the annual meeting of InterPore Saudi Chapter, academic workshop, student panel, and so on.
• Communication Officer: Dr. Gang Lei, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals
• Responsibilities: Post our news, events, and activities on the InterPore website and newsletter. Maintain our social media, website, and other publications.
• Finance Officer: Mohammed B. AlRayaan, Saudi Aramco
• Responsibilities: Manage the funds of InterPore National Saudi Chapter.
• General Secretary: Tao Zhang, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology
• Responsibilities: Help the president with documentation and draft work.
