Alex Hansen is the Center Director for PoreLab – Porous Media Laboratory, a Norwegian Centre of Excellence (SFF) funded by The Research Council of Norway. His research interests encompass a broad range of topics, including complex matter physics, computational physics, transport and breakdown phenomena in disordered systems, the physics of porous and granular media, and non-equilibrium statistical physics.
