The  4th Biennial Meeting of InterPore Australian Chapter, held from 29–31 January 2025 in Sydney, was a resounding success! This joint conference with the International Wettability and Porous Media Symposium brought together delegates from around the world, including the USA, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, fostering meaningful knowledge exchange within the Australian research community.

The event featured 35 oral presentations and several poster sessions covering a wide range of topics such as carbon sequestration, underground hydrogen storage, AI for porous media, multiphase flow, geomechanics, and soil characterisation.

Adding to the experience, attendees celebrated Chinese New Year with a special dinner at one of Sydney’s beautiful Chinese gardens, and the event concluded with a scenic coastal walk.
