Notification for in-person presenters

In-person presenters at InterPore2023 will be receiving an email notifying them of their presentation time and additional information. Please keep an eye out in your in-box, or view your abstracts from the “My Conference” page on the InterPore2023 website.

In-Person Oral Presentations at InterPore2023

• Each presenter will be assigned to one of the sessions during the conference.
• Session assignments can be found by navigating to the “My Conference” section of this website and clicking on the abstract link.
• During the sessions each presenter will give a 10-minute presentation, followed by a 5-minute Q&A.
• Detailed instructions on how and when to upload your slides will be provided shortly.
• All oral presenters will have the option to upload a pre-recorded video of their presentation for participants who are unable to attend the live presentation.
• Attendees and presenters can also use the chat feature in the conference platform, Whova, to discuss presentations at any time.

The deadline for in-person oral presenters is next Friday, 24 March. Unregistered presenters may have their contribution removed from the oral program. This measure is necessary to prevent gaps in the program.

Holyrood Distillery tours

Tours at the Holyrood Distillery in Edinburgh will take place throughout the afternoon on Sunday, 21 May. Spaces for each tour group are limited and can be selected during conference registration. If you’ve already signed up, but haven’t specified a time, contact us at conference2023@interpore.org to reserve your space.

Accommodations in Edinburgh

Edinburgh is a popular destination for many travelers. Booking early is key to securing accommodations at reasonable rates!

Special room rates at several area hotels have been negotiated through our accommodations service, Reservation Highway. A map with prices and the hotel locations with respect to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre can be found on the online booking portal.

In addition to the rates negotiated at the hotels, other accommodation options in the city are available: Premier Inn runs several budget-friendly hotels located in proximity to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and several accommodation options can also be found on airbnb.

An online booking site or your local travel agent may provide you with other affordable options.
