The Porous Media Group at the University of Bergen is looking for a PhD candidate with a background in applied and computational mathematics and related software development. The candidate will contribute to developing modeling and simulation capabilities for giga-scale subsurface CO2 storage. This may involve mathematical topics such as upscaling, homogenization and numerical analysis, as well as design and implementation of numerical methods.
