InterPore Research

InterPore’s mission is to establish and act as an international platform for researchers that are active in modelling flow and transport in complex porous media. There is a clear need to develop theories, models and experimental techniques that apply specifically to complex porous media and that are transferable between different applications.

Without a formal common platform for researchers in this strongly faceted area, researchers from different branches are often unaware of each other‘s activities. This is why we establish and intensify exchange of ideas and expertise, synergies and collaboration in porous media science.

• We proudly present our Research Spotlights series that highlights the work of selected members. This series is based on short scientific texts with illustrations that give an idea on current projects or group contributions in various fields of porous media research.
