Join us for the conference of the Australian Chapter of Interpore. The meeting builds on the successes of our previous gatherings in Sydney (2016), Melbourne (2018), Perth (2022) and Sydney (2025).

Themes:

Contributions to all aspects of porous medium research are explicitly welcome. On this occasion, we would specifically like to invite contributions to the following themes (but not limited to):

• Theme 01: Characterisation and functioning of engineered porous materials and their applications.
• Theme 02: Characterisation of porous rocks using state-of-the art technologies such as synchrotron, micro-CT, AFM and SEM.
• Theme 03: Experimental and / or modelling studies into transport, mechanical and chemical processes in rocks and engineered materials.
• Theme 04: Heterogeneity at different scales and upscaling techniques.
• Theme 05: Groundwater resources, flow and contamination prediction and monitoring.
• Theme 06: Subsurface geo-resources: H2, CO2 and natural gas storage, geothermal energy, coal seam and shale gas extraction.
• Theme 00: Other porous media research.
