Dr. Rehab, professor of gas and petrochemicals engineering, is currently the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies at the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Suez University. In addition, she is an adjunct faculty at the American University in Cairo (AUC). She is the PI of the Enhanced Oil Recovery laboratory at Suez University. She has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector. Moreover, she is a decarbonization and CCUS consultant.
Dr. Rehab obtained her PhD in CO2 storage from Imperial College London in 2013. She is the first Egyptian woman to obtain a PhD in petroleum engineering. She has MSc and BSc degree in chemical engineering and petroleum refining from Suez Canal University.
Dr. Rehab has more than 30 research papers on energy related topics that were published in international periodicals and conferences.
