Dr. Quentin Meyer is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia), specialising in hydrogen energy technologies, electrocatalysis, and transport phenomena in porous media. He received his PhD from University College London in 2015, where he was recognised for Research Excellence. Since relocating to Australia in 2018, his research focuses on structure–activity relationships in low-cost electrocatalysts within porous electrodes, and on the design of the next-generation high-performance hydrogen fuel cells and electrolyzers. In particular, his work explores the combination of machining learning, two-phase flow simulations, advanced prototyping and operando electrochemical measurements to improve the efficiency and durability of hydrogen fuel cells. Dr. Meyer has published over 85 peer-reviewed articles, secured significant research funding, and actively contributed to the global hydrogen and porous media research communities through leadership roles and international collaborations.
