The German Chapter aims to bring together people from various disciplines who study and work with porous media. The Chapter also aims to raise awareness of porous-media research in Germany, both within and beyond the community. It provides a national forum for exchange and collaboration, promoting the advancement and dissemination of knowledge regarding the understanding, description, and modeling of natural and industrial porous media systems. Since its inception in 2019, the Chapter has hosted various National Chapter Meetings biennially and other activities.
Activities include:
• Liaison with InterPore and other national chapters
• Attracting new members to InterPore
• Organizing InterPore Germany biennial meetings
• Promoting publication of Research Spotlights in the InterPore Newsletter
