The 6th International Conference on Digital Core Analysis & 2023 Annual Conference of the China InterPore Chapter was held in the China University of Petroleum (East China) on July 6th and 7th. The conference was hosted by Research Center of Multi phase Flow in Porous Media, co organized by the China InterPore Chapter. Prof. Jun Yao, the Honorary Chair of China InterPore Chapter, is the chairman of this conference.

This conference is a catalyst for groundbreaking research, transformative ideas, and collaborative endeavors. A total of approximately 150 researchers and academicians from 7 countries attended, of which 27 experts and scholars gave lectures on a vast array of porous media related research. In addition, there was an interesting poster session where new research works were presented. The conference encouraged collaboration and knowledge sharing between researchers, and we look forward to sharing next conference.

Since 2012, Research Center of Multi phase Flow in Porous Media of China University of Petroleum East China has held six consecutive international conferences on digital core analysis technology. The conference has promoted in depth research on porous media science and engineering issues, promoted the development of digital core analysis technology in China.
