What is Mentorship?
Mentorship is fundamentally a relationship where one person helps another grow through guidance, support, and shared experience.
 

What is in there for Interpore mentees?
You gain direct, personalized guidance from experienced researchers who understand the porous media community. They receive targeted advice on research direction, skills, and career pathways in both academia and industry. The session helps them expand their network and gain clarity on their next professional steps.

What is in there for mentors?
You can share your experience and advice with the next generation of porous media researchers and you will receive a certificate of gratitude from InterPore in recognition of your contribution.

The Structured Mentorship Format by InterPore:
We schedule a mentorship event every half year. The session is 1h divided into 3 blocks of 20 min for a one-to-one consultation with the mentors available.

Please note, you need to register for each round!
We kindly ask you to prepare your questions in advance: A starting point can be reflecting on your current situation, your ambitions and needs to achieve them. Well defined goals and questions will help you to evaluate after what you have learned and what actions to take and when.

You only need to register once, after participation in the first event, we will add you to our mentor list and send you an invitation for the following rounds. You can de-register from the list at any time. After 2 years inactivity, you will be removed automatically.
