Our Nomination Process

Each year, a call for nominations is issued via multiple channels, including the InterPore website, newsletter, social media platforms, and email outreach to thousands of researchers and students. Nominations for deserving candidates are gathered and forwarded to the Honors and Awards Committee.

This committee, composed of volunteer scientists, carefully evaluates the nomination packages to select the most deserving candidate for each award category. These dedicated committee members contribute their expertise without receiving any form of compensation.

The InterPore Foundation’s Board of Directors reviews the committee's recommendations, ensuring the evaluation process was thorough and unbiased before approving the final awardees.

Once approved, the names of the awardees are announced in our newsletter, on the InterPore website, and through social media channels. The awards and certificates are presented during InterPore’s annual meeting in May, celebrating the achievements and contributions of the recipients.
