LecturerSaman Aryana is the Occidental Chair for Energy and Environmental Technologies, Professor and Head of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wyoming, United States. He is currently a Fulbright Scholar and a Visiting Senior Fellow at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
His research activities comprise two complementary yet distinct elements: (i) theory development and mathematical modeling and (ii) experimentation. His work is driven by a deep interest in understanding the physics of flow and transport in complex hierarchical permeable media and developing systematic paradigms to explain and predict the system-level behavior of subsurface systems at the intersection of energy, water, and the environment.
