Kimberly-Clark distinguished lectureship awardee 2020

The InterPore award committee has selected the 2020 Kimberly-Clark lecturer:

Professor Veerle Cnudde

Dept. of Geology, Ghent University, Belgium
Holder of the chair “Porous media imaging techniques”, Utrecht University, The Netherlands

Prof. Cnudde started her career on micro-CT imaging techniques applied to geological material. Prof. Cnudde continued working on innovative applications of available imaging techniques not only on geology but also on many other fields such as cultural heritage, material science, and reservoir engineering/hydrology. An outstanding speaker and renowned scientist, Veerle Cnudde can deliver a comprehensive and lively lecture on imaging techniques to an academic as well as industrial audience.
