Of course, the exhibition scene will not stay within the conference alone; there is never a lack of exhibitions in Valencia to complete your perfect InterPore2019 day. Valencia offers 34 museums to choose from, offering art, history, architecture, etc. Soak up 18th century Valencia at the Museo Nacional de Cerámica (National Ceramics Museum), situated in the Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas. Today, we chose to introduce you to IVAM (Valencia Institute of Modern art), one of the epicentres of “artsy Valencia”. Close to the historic city center, IVAM comprises the Julio González Centre, opened in 1989, and the Sala de la Muralla, which is located in the basement of the previous building alongside the remains of the city’s mediaeval fortifications. During InterPore2019, there will be an exhibition entitled “1989”. So, whether you were already working in porous media or just born, you will have the chance to have a taste of the late 20th century. Besides special exhibitions, the museum hosts thousands of artworks, including masterpieces from local artists. The museum is near the Jardì del Turia, that is, close to the location of the 5km InterPore run. So, if you are not into running, you could go to the museum instead and join the brave runners afterwards. Or go before the run. Or, actually, go another day because (it goes without saying) the museum is conveniently reached in 30 minutes (on foot) from the Conference center, which as you surely remember, is strategically located to put you in the best position to enjoy InterPore2019 & Valencia!

Do you feel ready? Then, go ahead and register!
