Announcing the Kimberly-Clark Distinguished Lectureship Award

InterPore is excited to announce a new addition to its list of annual awards. The “InterPore Kimberly-Clark Distinguished Lectureship on Porous Media Science & Technology” will be presented annually. The Lectureship award, sponsored by Kimberly-Clark Corporation, will be presented to a person and topic chosen annually from the porous media community. The awardee will speak on a topic relevant to the industrial porous media community through a series of lectures at various member and non-member industrial and academic organizations.

The Award

A minimum of 20 lectures to be given at a number of member and non-member industrial and academic organizations approved by the InterPore FoundationA total grant of $25,000 for travel to locations of industrial and academic organizations (no honorarium will be given)Industrial and academic organizations can apply to host the lectureship awardee and pay only local travel expenses (transport to/from airport) and a two-day hotel stayAnnouncement of awardee and presentation of the award lecture at the annual conference

Kimberly-Clark has graciously committed to this lectureship for a minimum of 3 years.

The Lectureship Award will be administrated by the recently formed InterPore Foundation. A selection committee has been identified. The selection committee will consist of the InterPore Awards Committee chair, a representative from Kimberly-Clark, and a minimum of three additional members chosen by the InterPore Executive Committee. More details on the process to be considered for this award will be forthcoming, as will details of the InterPore Foundation.
