Fourth PMPM Annual meeting and the first annual meeting of the UK chapter of InterPore  took place on the 13-15th of January 2016 at the ICMS in Edinburgh.

After four years of successful events, this meeting marked the closing event of the PMPM network. Porous Media – Processes and Mathematics (PMPM, http://www.pmpm.org.uk/) is a UK wide research network (funded by the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council, UK) focused on all aspects of porous media flow at the interface between engineering, applied mathematics and scientific computing.

This year’s meeting featured a full day of training/workshops, followed by two days of keynote and invited talks from international renowned researchers.

— Homogenization and multi-scale modelling  (Gabriel Lord, Arthur Moncorge, Markus Schmuck)
