3rd Brazilian chapter conference: Program now available

The Third Brazilian InterPore Conference on Porous Media has announced the conference program (385 KB). It is a rich program with presentations on most major media topics: poromechanics, enhanced oil recovery models, multiphase flows, porous media flow and conservation laws, carbonate rocks, data assimilation and uncertainty quantification, reservoir modeling, advanced numerical schemes for porous media flows, pore-scale Modeling and Upscaling, Experimental Methods, Microscopic Flow in Fractures, multiscale methods microscopic imaging of porous media, waves in porous media, stochastic modelling and upscaling, petrophysics, and complex porous media. The conference chair and co-chairs are Eduardo Abreu, University of Campinas and Marcio Murad, LNCC.

The Brazilian Chapter of InterPore was established on 20 October 2014 and has been very successful in linking various porous media researchers in Brazil to each other.
