The InterPore Award for Excellence in Porous Media Research is given to mid-career researchers in recognition of outstanding research in general porous media, with emphasis on research conducted over the past five years. We welcome applications that demonstrate significant theoretical, experimental and/or modelling advances in understanding of problems involving natural and/or industrial porous media.
This award will be given to only one individual per year. The award consists of a certificate, a travel grant of €1,000 for participation in the next InterPore Meeting and Conference, and InterPore rosette.
Nomination packages should include:
- a nomination letter (maximum length two pages) including explicit reference to contributions of the nominee to porous media research during the last five years (not counting the current year),
- up to three supporting letters (maximum length two pages),
- copies of related publications (in electronic format) that have appeared in the last five years,
- a two-page CV of the nominee, and a full publication list.
Nomination packages should be submitted to nomination@interpore.org. Deadline for submission of complete nomination package: November 15 of each year.
Nominee and nominator must be members of InterPore. This is not required of those who write letters of support.
