Kimberley-Clark Distinguished Lecture Series continues

Mark Knackstedt, the 2019 Kimberly-Clark Distinguished Lecturer, will be making the second leg of his US tour this fall to present his lecture “Digital Materials Design”. Digital materials design (DMD) coupled with new manufacturing techniques are emerging technologies that have the potential to revolutionize product realization on a global scale. An article in The Economist likened the emergence of these novel imaging, modelling and manufacturing methods to the start of the third industrial revolution. In November, he’ll be making stops at Kimberly-Clark, University of Illinois at Urbana, University of Cincinnati and Louisiana State University to discuss this fascinating topic.
