InterPore2021: Scheduling Time Slots + Special Issue

Scheduling time slots

All oral and poster (+) presentations at InterPore2021 have been scheduled and presenters have been notified. Please contact us at conference2021@interpore.org if you are presenting an abstract, but have not received the informational email about the presentation schedule. In order to maintain scheduled slots, oral presenters must register no later than 01 May. Poster (+) presenters must register no later than 15 May. Conference registration can be completed through our website. Early bird registration rates are available until 20 April. Unsure of the status of your abstract or registration? Your abstract(s), registration details and receipt/invoice are accessible on the “My Conference” page of the conference website.

A copy of the detailed program is also available for viewing here. Please note that while you can view the detailed program, only registered participants will have access to the conference content. Visit our page on the online conference format for detailed information on using and accessing the conference content through Whova. Please note that items on the agenda are subject to change.


Special issue

A special Issue of the journal Energies has been planned based on contributions to InterPore2021. The special issue is entitle “Advances in Porous Media for Water, Energy, Environment, and Climate Change”. Guest editors of the special issue are: Mohaddeseh Mousavi Nezhad (University of Warwick, UK), Pejman Tahmasebi (University of Wyoming, USA), Moran Wang (Tsinghua University, China), and Majid Hassanizadeh (Stuttgart University, Germany). Contributions from InterPore2021 participants are welcome from the following areas:

  • Geothermal energy
  • CO2 storage
  • Reservoir engineering
  • Fuel cells and batteries
  • Underground energy storage (e.g., hydrogen)
  • Energy storage
  • Multiphysics and multiphase flow
  • Filters, foams, and membranes

Student Research on Face Masks

The winner of the InterPore Foundation Competition Student Research on Face Masks, Seyyed Ali Ghoreishy, will present his PhD research at InterPore2021 on Tuesday, 01 June at 4.45 pm CEST.
