Porous Media Scientists Elected to the US-NAE

Among the scientists recently elected as new members of the US National Academy of Engineering(NAE) are two InterPore members:

• InterPore President Prof. Laura Pyrak-Nolte, Department of Physics and Astronomy, Purdue University
• Prof. Mary C. Hill, Department of Geology, University of Kansas

Election to the NAE is considered to be among the highest recognition in engineering-related fields, and it often comes as a recognition of a lifetime’s worth of accomplishments. Congratulations to both Professor Pyrak-Nolte and Professor Hill.
