Meet the authors to discuss the recently published paper in Nature Reviews Earth & Environment on Subsurface CO2 and H2 Storage.
We are bringing together a panel of experts in science, engineering, law, and public acceptance to discuss recent developments in the USA, the EU, and the UK. The panellists will address the key issues around the scaleup of CO2 storage including fluid flow and trapping, storage site development and engineering, the risks of induced seismicity and CO2 leakage, regulatory frameworks and policy, public acceptance and environmental sustainability, and the limitations and opportunities for scaling up to a gigatonnes per year mitigation technology.
